I did the colorful mountain and humantay lagoon before I went to Machu Picchu on my own and the tours were really good; I did them days in a row, but being in a small group of 10 people really helps a lot to enjoy the experience better. – Juan F.

Did the 2-day tour to Uros, Amantani, and Taquile. Everything went smooth—pickup was on time and the boat was comfortable. Sleeping at the homestay on the island was a bit basic (no luxury, obviously), but the family was so welcoming and it felt very authentic. Taquile island is beautiful too. Definitely recommend if you have the time in Puno. – Francesca B.
